The full entry shows they were visiting an older couple - John Scott (61, waterman, born Hexham) and his wife Elizabeth (56, born Chirton). Possibly Mary's parents?

Sorry, took time out to watch "Spooks". You guys are incredible the info you have dug out in such a short time. I'm really new to this game and have, all too often, charged down blind alleys. Will need a little time to work through what you have come up with.
Obviously post 1902 activities are difficult to find/establish - but all this help is fantastic.
