PHILLIPS Brick wall

Hi

I am trying to find out any info of a PHILLIPS family how lived in Marizion Cornwall.

So far I have done well but now I hit the Brickwall.

Richard PHILLIPS. christening on the 22 Oct 1786 to a John PHILLIPS and Mary ?.  Any one any info on John or Marys family please and if they had any other children.

i was looking for a marriage for John Phillips & Mary but there a quite a lot!

i found 19 John Phillips & Mary marriages on Phillimores the nearest to your date (1786) were John Phillips of St Erth & Mary Bartle but it was at Crowan. 26.12.1785 and also  John Phillips ofCubert & Mary Ellery 4 June 1785 at St Crantock.
i think both of these are in the wrong area for them to be yours but they may have moved prior to Richards birth in 1786
