no joy with them in 1851 yet but in 1841 both are Ratcliffe

this is washerwoman Mary for want of a better description

Jane Ratcliffe chr 10 Aug 1817 mother Mary Ratcliffe

Ellen Ratcliffe born 21 Oct 1842, chr 10 Mar 1843, mother Jane Ratcliffe

Mary Jane Ratcliffe born 12 Feb 1861, chr 28 Sept 1862, mother Ellen Ratcliffe
Thomas Darrington Ratcliffe born 30 Oct 1864, chr 26 Mar 1865, mother Ellen Ratcliffe

Ellen Ratcliffe married Charles Lowe on 23 Feb 1874, he was 36 she was 32.

So that's the family line; & the family in 1881.
