Thought I'd post this pic of the Bishop Auckland Old Boys Football Team 1898-1899, someone's relatives may be here, my husband's grandfather is the captain.

I have a Thomas Brunskill & Joseph Plummer living in Bishop Auckland arounf that time & think the photo might be them.

Do you know where I could find out anymore info & where is the photo from.

Hi Jay,

Sorry for delay in replying, just been away for 2 weeks.

I don't have much more information about this photo, it's been passed down through the family.  It's been trimmed, so the photo studio name is cut in half and reads Clifton Art..., Bishop Auckland, and the players' names are printed at the bottom.  Written on the back is husband's grandfather F. Dalkin's home address in Ferryhill, that's all.  There's a bit of information on the internet about the football team, but I haven't been able to find out about the players.  If you'd like a copy of the full photo please pm me your email address.
