I tried searching for the birth of William which ought to be Lewes district? no sign of him between 1850 and 1855 but I found a possible for Frances in 1858.
1858 - quarter - June
District - Stockton
volume - 10a, page - 109
Can someone just confirm Stockton the right district for Melaw?

I had a look on www.familyhistoryonline.co.uk to see if I could find a baptism for William but no luck sadly. Do you know who Frances's parents were because I did find the following:
6 Sept 1857 batism of Frances Dobson parents - Joseph and Ann, at Jarrow, St Pauls.
