Are there any online resources out there for tracing ancestors from Holland. All the online resources I can find seem to be just to U.S.A and not to the U.K. Thanks

You can search here:
http://genlias.nl/en/page0.jsp (although I'm not sure if there's much in there for Amsterdam).

  - and there's some things online here as well.

There wouldn't be any ship records from Holland to the UK (no records were kept in the UK for ships coming from Europe), unless they had been kept for ships leaving Amsterdam (which I am not sure of, you would have to check with archives over there).

You might also want to take a look at http://www.jewishgen.org/JCR-UK/ , http://www.nljewgen.org/ , http://dutchjewry.org/ etc, for Jewish genealogy in the UK and the Netherlands.
