Hi Iam looking for the baptism of Isabella Horner of Thwing About 1836-1839 and also if her Mother is Jane can anyone find Jane's baptism record and any sisters or brothers. Any info will help a long suffering woman

Hi Nick,

I can't help with the Thwing records but there were some Horner's in Hunmanby if you would like some details.

They are mainly in the late 1700's so I wonder if they were originally from Hunmanby.

P.S. Just noticed that a Thomas Horner was a witness of one of my ancestors Marriage at Thwing in1833.

Thanks for looking for me. Ineed to find Isabella in Thwing cause in later census records she alway gives the village as her birth place

Hi

On the 1851 Census is a Bessy Horner, born Thwing, aged 25 & her parents were Thomas & Jane Horner.

Thomas was born in Hunmanby & Jane born in Reighton.

Is this the correct family?

Hi Gill I don't know have to find a link with Isabella I can;t even find her in 1841,1851 Census but she did married in to my family in 1860 Bridlington.
Was aked on "genes" if her mother was Jane but don't know?

Hi Nick

I have found her on the 1851 but unfortunately she was a "Nurse Girl" at Boynton and down as a servant for the relationship.

She is under 'Thorner' on the Ancestry Census aged 12 born at Thwing.
(HO107; Piece: 2367; Folio: 69; Page: 2)

I will continue looking on the 1841 Census

Hi Gill, You are a very clever person Ihave been looking for Isabella for 2yrs trying diffrent spellings of the surname but never through of putting a "T" in front. Yes that is my Isabella cause in later live I have her down as a nurse in 1881. The Thomas you found early where is he living cause I can't find that on Ancestry. i think I'm a bit thick at this game
