would it be possible if someone could look up a marriage for me please:

John McKenzie to Isabella Mackillop (c:1804?) 1826 Kilmory Bute Scotland

Isabella's parents Neil Mackillop/Mary Mckilvee?

(IGI states 13 march 1826 Kilmory Bute Scotland)

That is also the date which Scotlands People give  Smiley  If you go to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk, you will be able to find the entry in the index  and view/download an image of the original parish record entry.

It will cost 6 units (£1.20).

The entries in the Old Parish Records are very variable and it is likely that no parents names will be given. These are best obtained from post 1854 death certificates for people in this age group.

There are two entries in Kilmory for an Isabella's baptism:

24 October 1804 - Isabel - daughter of Neil McKillop and Mary McKelvie

12 Feb 1805 - Isabel - daughter of John Mackillop and Isabel McKenzie

Again, Scotland's People will have the images.
