Apart from george who maried Kate Midgley, I know nothing on the Midgley's would like to find out more on them.

I was puzzled that you didn't seem to have the Midgleys in 1861 census, so have been looking for them.....

I found this family in Scarborough, and can't find them in any other census:

Not sure if you have George's parents' marriage:

James Midgley and Elizabeth Wilkinson 1842 March Qu Halifax 22/114 
you would need this certificate to get further back by finding their fathers' names and occupations.

This could be James in 1841 with parents, again you need to confirm:
