1871 lookup please.. Trimmer family.

   Not sure what to make of this family but whilst collect all LISCOE names for my tree as we are related somewhere I found a baptism entry for...

  Liscoe James Sidney Trimmer  father William Trimmer
                                                 mother Jane Trimmer nee  Pink.
Baptised in East Tisted Hamps.

  He was reigistered  Q4 1876 Alton.
  He is indexed as Lescol James S Trimmer.

In 1881 they are indexed as Frimmer Living Old Place Farm
  RG11/1246 F 99 P3

   I am curious to how he was given this name as a christian name as it is rare enough as a surname.

   Hi Yonderpeasant....


   That is great...I had found a marriage in 1857 so was hoping to find more children.  Still cannot work out how he got the Liscoe name. Liscoe is a South London occurance and we just appear in the late 1700's so none that I know of yet in this area, other than present time as I have a cousin there now.

the Pink Trimmer combo dont seem to have stepped out of Hampshire.

   Well it further north and up here the closest is Lisgo as a surname.

  The other odd one out is on the Suffolk board Liscoe Bitney bap 1747.

    Hubby swears they all interbred somewhere!
