After taking advantage of the superb offer from Ancestry today it has thrown up several queries....
The first one should be easy for those of you with knowledge of the area.
I found a George Davies and a Martha Davies on the 1851 Census with their birthplace given as "Densharyee" and their mother Martha coming from Yardley Gotton.
Can anyone give their opinions. I have looked on the ordnance survey but not come up with anything definite.
Thanks for any suggestions.

George and Martha have left home in 1861 (Family are in Aston), and I cant see them as individuals .... try looking for their Birth entries in FreeBMD - the Reg district should help in pinning down that place ....
