Can anyone help?

I have a Mary Rudd born 1805 Sandridge, St. Albans.  She had a son called William Rudd born around 1830 Sandridge.  William married Eliza King in 1854 and on the marriage certificate it named William Rudd's father as William Lines.

On the LDS site it also lists William Lines as his father.  However it also lists that William Lines married Mary Rudd around 1825.  I cannot find this marriage and to add to the confusion on the 1841/1851/1861 censuses Mary Rudd has been quoted as unmarried.   

Do you think that LDS site is wrong or is there a marriage of William Lines and Mary Rudd that I have been unable to find?

Hi

I checked the baptism records for Sandridge.  William Rudd was baptised on 1st Aug 1830.  He was listed as the illegitimate son of Mary Rudd and William Lines.  So I think we can safely say they were not married in 1825.

In case you're interested I also found Mary's baptism in 1805.  She was baptised on July 7th and is the daughter of Philip Rudd and Elizabeth, his wife.
