I have only just found this wonderful sight & registered.

I am looking for an 1851 Berkshire look up for the name FOAN

Do you still need this look up? I am going to the Record Office next week and will try and do the look up for you, but do you have any more information? FOAN - First name? born? likely age? which town or parish? male or female, or are you looking for all FOAN's in a certain district?

I am so sorry for not realising that you had replied to my message, re the above subject. Thankyou for offering to do the lookup for me, but I realise by the dates of the posting that it is too late  now.
I have also realised that I wouold nbe lookingt for the 1881 census not the 1851.
I was looking for Henry FOAN, he would have been about 6 years old in the 1881 census.
Anyway I wish you a Very Happy New Year
