Those are WWI Military Attestation papers, you can view them for free on the Library and Archives site.

They are so the researchers can see the other threads with similar topics so that they don't double up on answers...when there are several threads on similar topics we can end up all of us looking for something already covered elsewhere...sorry I didn't label it...will do so now....J.J.
