Gt Broughton baptisms & marriage

Hello All,

I was given a marriage but with no source. It is not in the IGI:

William Robinson marr Ann Palmer Gt Broughton 1798.

Also their children's Gt Broughton baptisms are not in the IGI:

John b1801
Joseph b1803
Whittaker b1805
Jonah b1808
Dorothy Ann b1811.

Could someone with access to the parish records please lookup this marriage and baptisms.

The marriage is in the IGI - Bridekirk - of which Gt Broughton is part

I agree the baptisms don't seem to be there though - except Dorothy Ann at an unnamed place in Cumberland, Batch No.I025066

If no one else has found then by the time I go up again, I'll have a look for those too.

It's interesting the Robinsons did use some other local chapels, as well as Cockermouth. There are bits that aren't on the IGI in Cumbria, though we're quite well served by it.

There is a list on one of the Cumberland pages, of major gaps in the IGI for Cumberland in Parish registers, [not nonconformists]. Maybe someone will come up with it before I get down to it in my filing.

I dd go up to look for these yesterday, but I didn't know they were short staffed and they were closing for dinner so not really long enough to make much progress. I think I need to look in the few early nonconformists records. I'll be back though.

Sorry, not as much success yet on these. There are qite a large group of Robinsons in the closest Parish registers, but not to this couple. I'll have a look in the nonconformists, and a few others though.
