Hi
I wonder if someone would be able to search for a marriage for me?
I have a Edward Payne born East Grinstead 1780. From 1798 to 1811 he had six children that I have so far found born to him and a Jane and baptised at East Grinstead.
So I have looked for a marriage between Edward Payne and a Jane around 1797 in Sussex and also in Surrey with no luck. I checked the IGI and nothing there.
I am just wonder whether as it is closeby they may have married in Kent and I would be grateful if someone is able to help me find it.

Hi Kerry
I only have access to two Kent parishes on the Kent/Sussex border. I've looked at Ivychurch, nothing there, & also Hawkhurst which has a few PAYNEs, but nothing for an Edward Payne.
Sorry I can't be more help  but at least it's two parishes you can discount
