On the Latterday saints for 1881 It has KITTY BILES AGE 4 so she looks like another child
and Elizabeth who would be age 20 could be working or married Thomas Biles age 44 Powerstock Agricultural worker Jane Biles age 47 Thomas age 17 carter Frances age 16 dau agricultural worker George age 13 ploughboy William age 10 scholar Pam

These are fom the BVRI. I think there is an error in the spelling of Powerstock. It looks as though Thomas came from a large family, if you would like his probably siblings just let me know. Regards, Frances

Did you ever find out more about Thomas and Frances Biles. His father George was my gt-gt-grandfather who we have recently been trying to find more info. We came through William who married Ellen Lampen Griffiths. she was my gt-grt grandmother who had a daughter Ada, my grandmother who died 2 years before I was born. have been trying to find Williams death as Ellen was a widow on the 1901 census. Cannot find his sons Fredd death date either. Both were in the Royal Navy. Can you help me. April Clark

Dear Paul.
Yes, I do have Fred and Williams service records and a William Biles death cert. There are several Biles in that name and as the death cert. does not give the parents name and the informer was a person we do not recognise, we are therefore still looking. Thanks for your time in replying. Very much appreciated. April
