What is this Occupation?

Hello There!

Can someone help me with this one? I don't know what the transcriber was on when they typed this up!

I have a Francis Farquharson in Scotland in 1851 Doctor of Medicine not practicing.

In 1861 he's a Lauded Proper  Huh
In 1871 he's a Landed Proporster  Huh

What is he supposed to be?    Roll Eyes

Landed Proprietor. In other words he owned land, or  had an estate in land, and had a (usually exclusive) right or title to its use or disposal.

It's spelled Landed Proprietor.
