pre 1837 registers look up please

If anyone has access to birth registers for Bitton, could they please help me with a lookup for a birth or baptism of Joseph Haskins abt 1799, Bitton, Oldland. His father was named William Haskins, I do not know his mothers name.

Whenever I see an "about" date I wonder if it came from an LDS guess.  In this instance it did not seem to for I could find nothing, so I searched the 1841 and 1851 censuses: I could find no clue as to where "abt 1799, Bitton" comes from and I had tried nationwide searches.

What makes you think JH might have been born in Bitton, what was his parents' religious persuasion and where have you searched?

Without provenance traceable to the root source of the baptismal date and place etc., the information is now hearsay.

Where did it come from?  If its root source is not verifiable, it should not be trusted.

On the 1851 census  HO 107 2060 582 33 Joseph place of birth is Bitton.
It lists on the index page that his surname is HUSKINS but when you view the actual image it looks like HASKINS and I also can confirm the other family members. Mary is his second wife ( 1st being Amey PEASELY). On his second wedding certificate he lists his father as Willam Haskins.
That Hanham entry looks promising..... could you say what source it came from please.
