How's this for a claim to fame.

A relative recently told me that one of his mother's uncles was the first person to put prizes nto sweets packets. This must have been in mid to late 1800's. How on earth can I verify this?

I know his surname was Kidson and he probably lived in Hertfordshire somewhere.  Any sweets historians out there?

The only KIDSONS that I can find living anywhere in Hertfordshire between 1871 and 1901 are the family I transcribed for you previously who were living at Cheshunt.
