Battleter????
« on: Tuesday 30 October 07 15:23 GMT (UK) »

In 1851, at Ref: HO107/2041/218/8 there is the family of John and Sarah Battleter (the handwriting is not good - I could wrong!).

Can anybody find them in 1841 or 1861?

And, as an added bonus. can anybody work the Rootschat magic and find a marriage Grin

Thanks

I'm afraid I can't find their marriage at the moment .. .. but if you check the IGI for Astley there are births under the surnames of Badland and Badlam that may fit.

But .. .. there was a Sarah Baynton born in Astley ..

Christening, 24 March 1810

Sarah Baynton
Parents: Thomas and Mary

Astley, Worcester

Might just be a coincidence but according to the census John seemed to get younger?
