Hi Judy,
I'm no good with dates either but it does appear to be a recent wedding c. 1960's but as I'm ALWAYS wrong I did a bit of a cleanup as well

It looks mid to late 1950's to me ... but can't quite say why ! Something about the mens hair styles ?

Hi Lady Di!! That is a lovely sharp clean-up! Thank you very much. Super
Hi Lydart - thank you for your comment too. I think it is more likely to be a 50s than a 60s wedding. I did think it might be even earlier, but really am useless at dating stuff!! I think you are right about the hairstyles - looks like the Brylcreme wasn't spared!!
Thanks to both of you! Judy

Thanks Toni!
I think you may be right! I think that the bridesmaids' head-dresses are quite bizzare!!

Hi,
I think mid 50's would be about right. It's almost like looking at my parents wedding photo & they married in 1955. The fern on the bouquet is identical too.
Debbie
yes in my auncles wedding photo too!
Thanks Toni! I think you may be right! I think that the bridesmaids' head-dresses are quite bizzare!! Judy and the flowery hair bands

I can remember (vaguely!!) so called anti macassers (probably spelt wrongly!) in elderly relatives' houses when I was a child, to save the furniture from men's hair products!!

Yes, they are fab, aren't they!!!
The photo restorers on Rootschat are so clever and talented, and more amazingly, give all their talents and time for free! I spend hours just looking at the Photo Restoration board every day and am so in awe of their work! Amazing!!
