GUING Family

Hello,

I'm looking for any descendents of Thomas Guing and Margaret Briens who were married in Cloncannon in the early 1870's.   They had a son named George a musician and had a shop in Edenderry, I think he had a son named George born in 1896 who finished up in England.   George snr. also had a daughter Marie.

Hello Marie,

Griffith's Valuation of Ireland 1848-64 shows no families named Guing but for some strange reason the Mallow Heritage seems to have a large number of records for people with this surname. There's one slight problem though ... you need to register to have a look at those records. http://corknortheast.brsgenealogy.com/surnames.php?surname=GUING
