 Hi all,
I need a little help with my Edwards. I have a post on other rootschat lines re this also. The Edwards I am looking for I have found on the 1881 census, and I have certs on some of these people also., Birth cert of Catherine Eliza Beagley, b,28 February 1827, Chelsea,London,England. m, cert on 19 October 1846, Kensington, London, England. to Ephraim Edwards, b, from cert, November 1825, Buckingham,London, England. d, from birth deaths and marriges records Abt. 1893 Wandsworth,Surrey,London,England. all shown as written on records. shows parents of both named as John Edwards and Daniel Beagley.
I cannot find anything on John Edwards Father of Ephraim. I beleive Ephraim to have died quite young he doesn't show on 1881 census.
Ephraim and catherine had two children Waine Edwards, born Abt. 1863, Chelsea,London,England. After the 1881 census i cannot find anything more on him. I would like to find out if he married and or had children. the second child is Charlotte Edwards, 15 February 1868, Chelsea, Middlesex, England, d. 17 January 1935, Chelsea, London, England, m.24 November 1890, Chelsea, London, England. to Henry Wallace. I have record of her and her children, so I am fine there. Any help would be appreciated, many thanks marie................................................................................P.S I have the 1881 census records.

1871 Census...The sons name is Deffinately Danie l.....Had a look at the image for 1881 and though a bit ominous the boys name is Daniel certainly not Waine!!! ;)Certainly explains why u cant find him...LOL

If U read what I have Supplied here u will realise that u do not have a Waine in your tree...U do have a Daniel!!! The person u have as Waine 18 son of Catherine Brother to Charlotte in 1881 census is Daniel not Waine!!! It is Mistranscibed in 81 census ...Please reread what I said!!!

When I looked at 71 census which u did not have....I found Ephraim listed as Eath!! I found no Waine but a son Daniel so I checked the 81 census images not LDS transcript and found the boys name to be Daniel not Waine (It is mistranscribed as Waine!)...I continued from there as u said u were looking for information on Waines marriage and Children ....There is no Waine He is Daniel!! I Supplied His Marriage 91 and 1901 census entried for him and his family!!!

71 image name clearly Daniel ....81 not clear but to me is also Daniel...Daniel fits with 71 and 91 and 1901 census entries....Here r the blowups of Daniel and Dau Note the D in Dau.....
