I am trying to find a marriage between Angus McIntyre and Grace Duncan around Skipness. Angus McIntyre was married to Katrin Taylor in 1830 at the time of their youngest child's birth. 1841 census has Angus McIntyre and Grace McIntyre. I think his first wife may have died in 1834. I have tried Scotlands People but no luck there.

Hello,
No replies so off I went for a snuffle. Same as you on SP can find no record of a marriage of Angus McIntyre and Grace Duncan on SP.
I did however find a death entry for a Grace McIntyre ( nee Duncan) in Argyll (in 1873 - at age 84, widow of Angus McIntyre (shepherd). Parents of this Grace McIntyre were Peter Duncan (fisherman) and Jean Duncan - (M.S. Carmichael).
On the IGI - I had a good look around and only thing I could find was the 6 children below who would or might be the children from the first marriage- although it would seem to contradict your understanding of the births of their children. They are all children of Angus McIntyre and Katrin/Catherine Taylor. You can find them if you use the 'search' facility at www.familysearch.org
MALCOM MC INTYR Christening: 27 SEP 1818 Skipness, Argyll, Scotland ANGUS MC INTYR Christening: 08 OCT 1820 Skipness, Argyll, Scotland DUGAL MCINTYRE Christening: 12 AUG 1822 Saddell And Skipness, Argyll, Scotland ANN MCINTYRE Christening: 20 FEB 1825 Saddell And Skipness, Argyll, Scotland MARY MCINTYRE Christening: 12 MAR 1827 Saddell And Skipness, Argyll, Scotland Malcolm McIntyre Birth: 08 MAY 1830 Escart, Rothesay, Bute, Scotland And christening MALCOM MC INTYR Christening: 08 MAY 1830 Skipness, Argyll, Scotland

I think if you put in more information regarding Angus and Grace, you may get others willing to carry the torch forward. Got to get back to work now. Regards, Steve

1841 census I have Angus 45, Grace 40, and 2 of Angus children ( Mary & Malcolm correct ages from his first marriage) at Oragaig Skipness.
1851 Census shows Angus 65, Grace 65, and I think her sister (or perhaps a daughter) as I just checked the age and Elizabeth Duncan is 40 at Rockfield.
1861 Census cannot find Grace or Elizabeth and Angus is deceased.
1871 Census there is Grace again still at Rockfield (where Angus died) Grace age 85 pauper.
1873 Grace died age 84 at Rockfield. Ooops I did have her parents from that Steve.
