When I press "Save" where does the relevant chat with information go to?

I use the save button after Ive modified my post,usually because Ive made a mistake,I don't know of any other uses for it...

I've just been in - having a nose  Grin

If you press Save, a second screen/tab comes up with 'Chat Log'. i assume that you can right click on that and save it to your computer.

Mine is still there as a separate Tab  although I'm out
