Hi ankerdine,

Looks like it's the clocktower in Stanley Park Blackpool, it was named after William Henry Cocker the 1st Mayor of Blackpool, and you used to be able to climb to the top of it at the cost of three old pence.

Thanks to you all for your various replies. This fits in with a selection of other little photos in my mother's box of memories. I, unfortunately, never took notice of names of people or places which she may have mentioned. I think some of her memories were too sad to bring back to mind.

Thanks again for your help.

Hi Ankerdine

Thought you might like this photo restored before you put it back into the "Shoebox" -

Well done Tom. That's really exceptional. After seeing that I am going to put up one of my mother that's really very vague. Hope someone can do something with it.
