Hello
I am a new member who requires a little help to resolve a mystery.
Two of my family trees are Bryson & Davidson but I found one of my Brysons married a Davidson not part of my tree. Bought marriage certificate of
John Ewart Davidson & Ann Abercrombie Bryson date 28 August 1872. This gave me Johns father as William. On LDS found William Dav idson married Mary Ewart at Graitney. William b1809c Kirkpatrick Fleming & Mary b1810c Graitney.
Does anyone have access to 1841 census for Dumfries which will confirm date of birth & places of William & Mary, or are there any Davidsons out there who can help. Would appreciate any help at all.

cannot find them on 1841 census but here they are on 1851 census.
william davidson age 42. b. kirkpatrick. occ. road labourer. head.
mary davidson age 41. b. annan.wife.
david davidson age 20. b. annan. occ. farm labourer. son.
agnes davidson age 17. b. dornock. occ. farms in fields. daughter.
george davidson age 15. b. dornock. scholar. son.
john davidson age 13. b. dornock. scholar. son.
mary davidson age 11. b. dornock. scholar. daughter.
william davidson age 9. b. dornock . son.
margaret davidson age 6. b. dornock. daughter.
thomas davidson age 4. b. dornock. son.
living at butterdales,dornock,dumfriesshire.

found them on 1841 minus the father william
1841.
mary davidson age 30.
david davidson age 12.
elizabeth davidson age 10.
agness davidson age 8.
george davidson age 6.
john davidson age 4.
mary davidson age 2.
william davidson age 1mnth.
living at butterdales,dornock,dumfriesshire
parish number. 819.

william davidson is on the same page of the census
but is transcribed as being on his own though the address is the same
unfortunately i do not have access to the original image so do not know if it has been transcribed wrongly anyway here is williams particulars.
william davidson age 30. occ. agr.lab.
i'm afraid this is all the information for william and his family that the 1841 transcription gives.
