Shaking all over, it's a big thing to have, my own web space. 
I have spent the last hour or so reading up on this board, still none the wiser, not because the information isn't brilliant, but because I have a mental block about these things,
so just one question to start with, is there a time period that you are allowed to use your web space, or if nothing happen's on it, will it be removed from me  Eilleen.

yes and no 
Officially, yes, there is a time period, but - relax !! - inofficially, as long as we know that you are trying, and it's only technical problems that are stopping you, then No, there is no limit.
Just ask, whenever you get stuck;
there are plenty of people here who have been throught this, and will be glad to help you to get your site "up and running"
