Maguire/Cambell
« on: Wednesday 24 March 04 12:59 UTC (UK) »

I have just learned that my Great Great Great Grandfather, Edward Maguire was married to an Anna Campbell - probably in the 1830's. Known children were James, Charles, Edward, Stewart and Catherine - all children born in the 1830-1840's. Edward Maguire died March 20, 1899 in Killycurragh. Anna Campbell Maguire deid before him but date unknown. Believe all 4 sons emigrated to the U.S. (Indiana). Catherine remained in N. Ireland and lived in Omagh. She was never married but had 6 children - 2 of whom are known to have been born in Ballynamullen - the others possibly in Omagh. She lived on Castle Hill Street, Omagh at some time. On 1901 census was living with son James in Omagh. Catherine died in 1902 in Killycurragh.

Any information on this Maguire family in Tyrone greatly aprreciated - Thanks
