Carr/Walker

bit by bit , certificate by certificate i am unravelling this family. i am now back to William Walker born 1826 in Bolton by Bowland , Yorkshire. He married elizabeth carr in June 1852 in St Clements church , Toxteth Liverpool. i have their marriage certificate.
Elizabeth was born according to later census in c1826 Holborn Hill, Cumberland. Elizabeths father on certificate is isaac carr. i can find no trace of him or elizabeths birth. can anyone help. There is a elizabeth carr on igi born to dinah carr but no father given. christening date of 31 dec 1826, millom, cumberland.
i possibly have elizabeth on 1851 census with william Walker as a servant in a house in rothwell yorkshire. elizabeth is down as cam. Cant find her in 1841 census.
any ideas anyone

Wow how did you find that and so quick . i had trouble even when you had told me what to look for as it wasnt until you click actual image you find her. thank you so much.
the two denny children ages would fit in with the possible death of john in 1834
elizabeths marriage certificate gives isaac carr as her father, but i suspect that even though her father is named her parents were never married. i will now have to look and see if i can find his death. it will be interesting to see if he died before elizabeth later married or whether he just abandoned them and dinah later maried. or i suppose they could have been married as he is carr and she is carr to.

sorry three children yes
i have just been looking at census on ancestry and it would appear that john denny did live right until 1886 and dinah until 1880. ihave them in the census until 1871 where they are with three walker grandchildren ( well two are down as grand children and one as son but they must all be grandchildren i think .) this makes a nice link to the walker clan although the grandchildren named dont fit in with the elizabeth carrs children that i know of .

scrub that - i have just realised that means that alice carr married edward walker and then elizabeth carr married william walker. that has just made me think. what relation are they each to each other? is it two sisters marrying two brothers?
