At last I got a birth cert but its not the right Herbert I got a check done and Herbert born Hackney 1878 has a father Arthur so its back to the drawing board Help !!!!!!!!

Still struggling but looked at Herbert born in Camberwell again with his father James Clicked on a brother Edward and he was born in Newington Surrey James was a widower and a foreign bill clerk Its a possibility
You can never be really sure can you unless you know there where brothers and sisters that tie in Could James have become a publican How frustrating
