Here's another of my mothers 'treasures' ... is there no end (no, I don't think so ! She never threw anything away in 93 years !)
Its a willow pattern printed onto a 12" piece of linen ... do you suppose it was given away with a magazine ? Does anyone know about 1920's magazines ?
I've actually got four of them, so thought sewn together, they might make a nice cushion for the kitchen ...

My Mum has something similar which she has embroidered. It was from a magazine (not your Mum's - more likely Women's Weekly)

It looks very complicated to embroider ... but perhaps I had better check it somehow in case its one of those transfers which would wash off !
I have a vague idea I have seen one which she cut out, so I've got four squares, and a fifth round one ... I could wash the odd one and see what happens !
