How do I get my site noticed
« on: Friday 09 November 07 11:42 GMT (UK) »

I now have uploaded a website, created in Freeway - my first attempt! Apart from a couple of buttons not working, it seems to work OK. Thanks for the free webspace.

The next questions I have is... how do I get the search engines to find my site. I have added some KEYWORDS etc, but so far I can't find my own site unless I key in the URL.

Hi there,

I dont know if this is still available but there used to be a piece of free software on the freebie discs from PC magazines or to download called dump TRUCK that loads your website into ...i think...15 search engines at a time. Also make sure you use plenty of meta tags.

Hope this helps

KBG.

BTW whats the site addy?? I have lots and lots of Aberdeen connections.

Great site! Lovely artwork. Did you do that?

I see you are connected to the Scottish Brocks. I worked on them for several years before I realised I was not connected to them at all. Just that the John Brock fishmonger, Yarmouth, and John Brock fishmonger, Yarmouth were not one and the same!  Undecided
