I have a marriage in 1720 between a Thomas Maudit of Toller Fratrum and a Mary Forse from this place but cannot find it on the map. Is anyone able to help?

Higher Wraxhall is a few miles north of Frome Vauchurch, so I expect it should read "Wraxhall, Vauchurch". North west of Dorchester - Multimap will show you. (Toller Fratrum is close by, too.)

Hi toby,

If you visit www.dorset-opc.com you can find details of both Frome Vauchurch, including some photos and a link to an old map, and Wraxall, which has 1851 census along with some baptism, marriage and burial details.
