I need some confirmation as I think I have gone off at a tangent.....
Janet STRAITON b 10/01/1813 Denny
married
William MCAUSLAND b 1821 approx Denny

I have her father as Thomas Straiton m Janet REID however this is where I come stuck.
I have come back to these after a long time & there also seems to be a Thomas Straiton married Christian REID around the same time. They had 8 children but not sure if I have got them mixed up. The names Janet & Christian (female) both run through my family. Janet & William had a daughter who they named Christian.

I have Thomas' parents as James Sturton m Christian barnet but need to make sure they are the correct line.

Can you help?Huh
