Have just been reading about Minster Lovell and came across a reference to John, above and large leaseholdings of farmland at Little Minster, landowner, W E Taunton. Also a reference to the death of Jane HALE (?) and possibly letting land go after her death. This Jane Hale may have been Jane BUSBY m 1822 Charles Hale - but maybe not.
Does anyone know anything about these HALEs? Are they the 'Brize Norton and Bampton ' Hales? If anyone can give me any family information I would be very grateful so I can place them in my rapidly accumulating family of Hales.
