Hi,

I'm searching my ggfather Stephen Henry Pearson, born New Mills Derby. I have 1861 onwards, not living in Derby...

various occupations, coachman, cab proprietor and publican.

He's born about 1811, but other census vary ages.. and he sometimes calls himself Henry, not Stephen. One census lists birth as Hayfield.  Married to Catherine (nee Howard) from Hampshire by 1861 with 6mo son... Catherine born 1832.. unlikely to be married in 1851.

Nothing shows up in the 1851 census index for either Stephen or Henry for that age.
