Hello

I am seeking confirmation for the birth/christening of John Druery abt 1756 at Gorlestone. Probable marriage Francis Sarah Norton.

Also looking for records for his children John abt 1801, Mary abt 1795 and George abt 1788

Also birth/christening for his father Corneilus Druery (may not be Gorlestone).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Tony

Taken from Gorleston with Southtown churchyard inscriptions.

Cornelius Druery (late of Gt. Yarmouth) d. 24th September 1811 aged 59 yrs also Thos. Page Druery, his son, died at Bombay, November 28th 1809 aged 28 yrs.

This would make Cornelius b. ~1752, so obviously not the Cornelius you mention above, but perhaps a brother to John?

Thanks a lot for that information. It is the Cornelius I required and he was the brother to John. I was trying to fit my information to a tree that was wrong.
