Arthur O'Hare - Naas, Kildare - Help please!
« on: Monday 12 November 07 21:38 UTC (UK) »

Hi

I'm trying to track Arthur O'Hare (his wife Mary Creighan) and John O'Hare (wife, Ellen), both of whom were shoe makers living in Liverpool, but born in Ireland.
One of John's census entries gives Nass as his birthplace, which leads me to think both were from Naas.  All their other entries just say Ireland!
Arthur was born ca. 1805 and John ca. 1820.

Can anyone tell me what records exist in Naas that could help me to trace these chap's families?

Thanks

There is only one 'Elderly' family of Creighans still in Naas.
? St Corbans Place Naas. May or may not be related to your ancesters. Perhaps worth a try. Check the Telephone Directory.
