MI Look up please
« on: Thursday 15 November 07 12:05 GMT (UK) »

I am trying to find where a Samuel and Jemima (Nina) Sabey might be buried.  I have found them in the 1861/71/81 census.  In the 1881 they are living at 28 Mill Street Gamlingay.  On BMD there is a death in 1882 for a Samuel Sabey, but not sure if this is the right person.  On the censuses Samuel is down as being born in either Little or Great Gransden c 1821.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Hi, Betty,
I see from the 1882 death entry for Samuel SABEY that the registration district is given as Caxton, which includes about 26 parishes!  But I will have a look at the transcriptions of the Gamlingay burials - and perhaps one or two nearby parishes if I have the time - when next I'm up at the CCRO; possibly the end of next week, certainly before the Christmas shutdown...
Very best wishes,
N.B. Might even come across his wife, Jemima...

That would be great if you could do that.

After reading other threads I realised there might be a few parishes.

Anything you can do to help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your time.
