Hi Everyone, Would it be possible to take a look at the 1861/71 census's: Madeley, Shropshire. I'm looking for an Enoch Davies and wife Ann, with a child named Mary Ann Davies. My main reason for asking is to find out if they married in this area. As i have got them on the 1881 census because i do not have access to any other census's.
Many Thanks Ruby

Monica, Those are the ones in the 1871 and 1881 census's, can i be cheeky and ask if they are anywhere in the 1861 census with one child. As my main aim is to find where they got married plus his wife's full name please. As these are my Great/Grandparents from my dads, mother's side but being the name Davies you can imagine how many they are.
Kind Regards Ruby

Marriage would have been before registration going by first child, try IGI or possibly others may have parish records for the area.
1841 - HO107; Piece 928; Book: 13 Civil Parish: Madeley Address: Green
All born in county
William Davies 35, miner Martha " 40 Edward " 13, lab William " 10, lab Enoch " 4 Joseph " 5mths
Do you want the Farr family 1851/1841

Looked briefly, cannot find anything on IGI for the Davies family within Madeley.
Post seperately on this board to see if anyone can come up with marriage/baptism details for them.
It's getting late, do you want the Farr family?
