Hi,
could anyone find the following people for me in the 1861 and 1871 censuses?

1841 census-might be found in Elston,Notts or Long Bennington,Lincs?
William HOE-born Bathley-circa 1814
Mary-wife-born circa 1814-Balderton,Notts?
George-son-born circa 1840-Elston,Notts.

1861 census-might be found in East Stoke or Elston,Notts
Richard PACY/PACEY-born circa 1802-East Stoke,Notts
Elizabeth-wife-born circa 1804-born Barkston or Hough
William-son-born 1837-born East Stoke,Notts
Ann-daughter-born circa 1841-East Stoke,Notts
Hannah-daughter-born circa 1844-East Stoke,Notts

1871 census-might be found in East Stoke or Elston,Notts
Richard PACY/PACEY--as above
Elizabeth-wife-as above

Hi Trisha, don't know if you have the marriage of Richard and Elizabeth, I found this on NFHS marriage disc

Richard Pacey and Elizabeth Rawden   
at Farndon, Notts     20.3.1830

Farndon is only 2.8 miles away from Elston and 2.2 miles from East Stoke

many.many thanks for doing that lookup. :)Her surname has always been a mystery and now you seem to have found her.I'ld be very suprised if this isn't the woman I'm looking for.I don't suppose if it says where she comes from or even gives the name of her parents does it?

no such luck Trisha !!! but you could ask is anyone is going to Notts Archives and will look up the parish record for you. At least you have the date and Parish.

Trisha, try posting a message in the Lincolnshire board asking for a lookup for  Elizabeth Rawden in Barkstone, Lincs b. abt 1803. I will have a look on my records and IGI for you

On the IGI Batch for Barkston, Lincs

Elizabeth Rawding 29.6.1803  father George ,mother  Ann
also

John Rawding 10.7.1806  parents as above
and
John Rawdin 7.10.1815  parents as above

the spelling is a little different but that could have been transcription errors

Susanna     25.9.1794
George        21.1.1796
Thomas       2.6.1799



It seems like George and Ann lived in Brant Broughton before moving to Barkston.
