Marriage Lookup Sawbridgeworth Please - WHITEHEAD

Hello there!

I am trying to find a marriage for a William Whitehead to a Sarah in Sawbridgeworth.

The first child christened there was John in Nov 1770 so I presume it would pre-date that.

Hi Ashley,

There is no record of a marriage for William WHITEHEAD in the Allen Index of Marriages for Hertfordshire.  Sawbridgeworth is on the border with Essex

Incidently, there are no less than eighteen Whitehead burials in Sawbridgeworth recorded in the 1800-1850 Hertfordshire Burial Index, including two Williams and a Sarah.  Further details if required.

I would be very grateful for the burial details.

William and Sarah had about a dozen children so many of them may relate to them.

I'll dig around in Essex and see if there is a marriage there - many thanks for the advice
