1841 Census Lookup Please - David MANDALL/MANDEL/MENDEL

Hallo fellow Rootschatters,

Is anyone able to help me regarding David Mandall or Mandel or Mendel, living in Hertfordshire in the 1841 census. 
I am looking for him and possibly his daughter Julia Ann although I suspect she is not with him at the time.  He may have been living in Hertford itself.

Hi Kirk

I have several Hertfordshire 1841 Census Indexes but I can only find 1 David MANDALL/variants.  He is aged 20 and living in Codicote. Does this sound like your chap?  If so, I will gladly transcribe the entry for you.

Found a David MARDELL at Cow Bridge, Hertford on the 1841 under reference HO107/447/2  F.13  P20/21

David Mardell  25  Smith
Ruth         do   20
Phoebe    do     3
Louisa      do     2 mths
All born in county.

Is this your family?

I put in my post then very rudely forget to check up on it! Embarrassed
I do not know when David was born but Peter, that is spot on.  And he was a Smith too.  It is Ruth I am looking for and her new born daughter Julia which appears to have been incorrectly transcribed as Louisa.  Phoebe I didn't know anything about.  Well that certainly gives me something to think about.
Ruth is my ancestress and I have a feeling that she ran away from David Mandell a short time after this census was taken and hid in London where she met my ancestor Saunders Ford. . .
This was always a very secretive family so here are more mysteries!
