This website is excellent and have only just discovered it so thought I would add a link here.  Obviously the more people adding to it the more useful it will become... I am trying to add all my ancestors but it is taking a while!!!

Suffolk: Pearl(e) & variations - Brettenham, Hitcham,Rattlesden; Waddilove - Rattlesden and possibly Norfolk.  Garnham - Belstead, Ipswich & area. 
Durham/Yorkshire: Sedgwick - West Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Merrington.
