Leah HONEYWELL
« on: Saturday 17 November 07 21:38 GMT (UK) »

Can anyone help me with this lady, she is shown on Pigots Commercial Directory 1830 as being the owner/keeper of the Three Horse Shoes pub/Inn in Downton Wiltshire. I have other Honeywells in the village at the time but cannot find a link from them to her or find her on any census. It's driving me crazy Huh

Hope this helps.  Leah Honeywell married Harry Tanswell 8.6.1836 in Downton.  Could she have the pub lic. under her maiden name?  As per FamilySearch.

Thanks for helping I have the marriage, I am thinking that possibly Leah is a middle or 'nickname' but in the end it will probably be one of those unanswerable questions that we all love
