can' attach segment of census image (NOW DONE)

Hello

I am trying to attach a segment of an image to ask for help in deciphering it, but I am getting this message.    I have renamed it as suggested but still getting the message.  Any ideas?

Error Has Occurred!
Sorry! There is already an attachment with the same filename as the one you tried to upload. Please rename the file and try again.

Hi Ewan

It just means that someone else has used the same name for the photo as you are trying to use. Just make it unique by adding a few numbers and try again!

Hello Judy and thank you for you reply.

The file was called Emily I changed it to emily and then to emily1 and that seemed to do the trick.

As you have figured out, the system upon which Rootschat is based requires that every file have a unique name or else it will not accept the upload . Unfortunately while the file name may be unique to you, with the number of images loaded to Rootschat's servers the possibility that the name has already been used grows every day.

One method as has been suggested is to combine the file name with numbers another is to use your user name with the file name plus a number or even the date
e.g. ewan_emily1 or ewanemily1
