Hi
Please can anyone assist. I am trying to find the names and dates of birth of the parents of George King who was born in 1806 in Stewkley, Buckinghamshire. I do not have any further information except that in 1834 he married Mary Curtis b: 1816.

Many, many thanks for your assistance with this, I really appreciate your help. Can I ask how you found the information please?  I have tried all sorts of searches etc but could not find it.    Hi Christine.....

  The baptism does not show on the IGI international genealogical index.
Today I went to the library in Milton Keynes they have films of 99% of the parishes in Buckinghamshire and I looked through the film for a baptism.
Stewkley features in my husbands side of the tree so I was able to kill two birds with one stone.

  The marriage appears on The IGI but it is submitted and not re-produced from records extracted from the books. I can have a look for siblings and/or parents marriage when I next go if you would like them.

That was so kind of you - thank you so much. The link I am trying to establish is through George King's ancestors and the Royal line with the surname King - I know it's a long shot but they both came from Buckinghamshire about the same time!

   Sounds like you will have your work cut out as there are 213 George Kings on IGI and not all of Buckinghamshire is listed.
