MASON of Ipswich
« on: Saturday 15 January 05 20:51 UTC (UK) »

Hi anyone,

I'm looking for Percy James Mason, born 1896 in samford Sussex

after that he has vanished !  He must be somewhere as he had at least 5 children, one of which was my father !

He isn't on 1901 census, but must be in Ipswich by 1928 when my father was born.  Huh

Help. any ideas gratefully received.

Mary

Hi Sue

I don't havemuch more to go on.  All I could get was his name from my father's birth cert. I have Percy's birth info from Ancestry (with no parents' names ) and I could order his birth cert from Records Centre hoping it's the right one !  Undecided

That could be my next step as none of my father's siblings are in this country anymore.

Here's hoping

No sign of a Percy in 1901 census of that age born in Suffolk.  It will have to be his birth cert to give you more info.  Could his parents have been abroad at that time?
Sorry can't help any further.
